Andrea has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) from the Lincoln Institute of Health Sciences in Melbourne.
She joined the Edgecliff practice in 1992 with extensive experience as a physiotherapist in hospitals in Australia and the UK, working in all aspects of physiotherapy from ante-natal care to geriatrics.
Andrea has a particular interest in working with patients with movement dysfunction, spinal pain and breathing pattern disorders. She is a certified breathing instructor in the BradCliff Method (see www.bradcliff.com) incorporating use of the CapnoTrainer®. She has further training in acupuncture and dry needling and is a Tai Chi for Health instructor.
She is a collaborative author of two papers on diagnosis and therapeutic care in spinal pain in the Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies.
